The small group tour to Laos and Cambodia begins on January 3, 2013. We spend 8 days in both countries starting in Luang Prabang, the ancient capital of Laos. We then travel to Phonsavan were the main attractions are the Plains of Jars. Then on to the modern capital of Laos. Vientiane. Next stop is Siem Reap in Cambodia which is the main town near the Angkor Archeological Park. Many amazing sites will be visited during the five days here. The teachers in the group will love the day spent with the archaeologists from Sydney University who manage the Greater Angkor project. Last but not least we fly into Phnom Penh the capital of Cambodia, once known as the Pearl of the Orient. The group returns on 19th January 2013.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia January 5-8 2012 My first tour! Denis and I joined 11 others for a "Study Tour" of Cambodia from 5-14 January. We had a busy time in the capital Phnom Penh visiting the Royal
Palace, museum, Silver Pagoda, and taking a sunset cruise on the Mekong. Kimlay,
our fantastic and knowledgable guide helped us understand the
significance of the Pol Pot regime when we visited the Choeung Ek
memorial ( the Killing Fields) and then later the Toul Sleng Genocide
